Hello everyone,
I’m new to this forum. My name is Anton and, going against the current trend, I’m a newcomer to analogue black-and-white photography ;)
As my Canon 300D has had to go in for repairs for the third time, I decided to buy something more reliable and ended up with a Mamiya M645.
But now to the point :)
I’m currently putting together a small, simple black-and-white darkroom and am on the lookout for a suitable enlarger..
Does anyone here have one lying around that they no longer need and would be willing to sell at a reasonable price?
As mentioned, I have a medium-format camera (4.5 x 6) and would also like to make larger prints (40x60 or so)
A filter drawer would be nice, but not essential, as – if I’m not mistaken – there are also ‘front-of-lens screw-in filters’ available :)
So, I’d be very grateful for any offers...
Have a lovely day, Anton

Hi Anton!
Have a look on eBay – there are always some good deals to be had. Actually, even newer models from Durst and Kaiser aren’t all that expensive. If you’re thinking of buying an enlarger, look for one with a colour mixing head; second-hand ones go for around 200 euros including the lens. You’ll see, at some point you’ll end up taking colour photos and then you’ll need it anyway. Just a tip from me.
Best regards, mephisto ;)

You should definitely be able to find a second-hand Meopta Opemus 6 for under €100 (on eBay). It’s also worth checking out local photo shops and retailers – they often sell off high-quality professional equipment at rock-bottom prices...

OK, first of all, thanks for the tips!
I’ve been looking on eBay for ages, but I haven’t found the right thing yet.
Does anyone know of any labs in Berlin where I could enquire?
Thanks, Anton
Timur
I think I have a Meopta Opemus 6a with plenty of accessories for sale.
If you’re interested, please email timuryueksel86@yahoo.de. I can then provide you with more detailed information.

Hi Anton,
If you’re not keen on the offer above, you’re obviously in Berlin. It wouldn’t be far to pop round the corner to Impex.
They should be able to help you out there. That’s what they did for me back then (even over the phone).
Actually, I think the Opemus 5 or 6 are pretty good too. I’ve got a 5 myself :-)
Best regards,
Franz
