I haven’t tested this myself yet, but from what I’ve read, the general rule seems to be: always apply overexposure to Kodak films by one, or better still two, stops (and develop them at the standard speed), whereas Fujis apparently don’t need any correction. There’s a website with lots of sample images where pretty much the same subject has been photographed using lots of different films. The differences in the results are sometimes quite drastic, even with films that only differ in terms of ISO (Provia 100 vs. 400 etc.). Let’s see if I can find the link again...
