Hello,
Yes, yes, I know you’re not supposed to contact Mirko/FOTOIMPEX directly, but I just wanted to leave this as a comment:
Although I love the quality and design of ADOX papers, they always tear very easily for me. (I think I’ve read something about this issue here before, but I couldn’t find anything using the search function.)
So just as an idea: if, for example, the 24x30 pack were 28x34 cm rather than 24.5x30.5 cm, I’d save a lot of tape on the corners :)
Otherwise, it’s no big deal; the paper is sufficiently protected by the black film.
Regards
Simon

Hi Simon,
Are you willing to pay the significant extra cost that this would entail?
Not really. I just transfer the stuff into old cardboard boxes. Although I don’t have that problem with the Vario Classic FB: the roll stays in the bag and fits perfectly in my small Bordcase suitcase :-)
Best regards,
Franz

Well, "extra charge": how much exactly? It can't cost that much when the next batch of boxes is made – after all, they're not replacing the current ones, but just when the next batch is produced... and yes, I wouldn't mind paying an extra euro or two at all. Everything's getting more expensive anyway :)

Don’t you have any empty boxes that could be turned into a paper safe? Just use some sticky tape as a hinge at the back, stick a piece of cardboard – as wide as the box – to the top of the lid and the bottom of the box, letting it stick out 2 cm at the front, and you’re done. No more fiddling about with paper packets.
Best wishes, Wolfgang

Exactly. That’s why I wrote it that way in the first place.
