skydl Hello, I’ve just uploaded a few photos to my website that were taken with the ADOX 100CHM. The photos have simply been scanned as-is and haven’t been edited in any way!!
Christoph Hello, Just a quick question: were the photos taken on Adox CHS 100 (formerly known as Efke)? Because there isn’t actually a CHM 100 – only a CHM 125 (which is said to be identical to an English film)? Best regards, Christoph
skydl Hello, Yes, I mean the CHM 125. Sorry, I sometimes find all the different names a bit confusing. :D I’ve also developed the CHS 100 at home; I don’t think it’s bad either. It could just do a bit better at large enlargements. At the moment, as I mentioned on my website, I’m developing the images to 13x18. Regards Skydl
FrankJBeckmann Hi, yes, I mean the CHM 125. Sorry, I sometimes have a bit of trouble with all the model names. :D [post="6932"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post]But your introductory text doesn’t fit the CHM 125 at all. Bye Frank
Christoph Hi skydl, If you’ve already developed a CHS 100, I’d be interested to know – assuming you used it as a 35mm film – how badly the base is stained. I’d also be interested in using this film for reversal processing. Best regards, Christoph
skydl So, I’ve finally got it right: “IT WAS THE ADOX CHS 100” As I have both the CHM 125 and the CHS 100, I’d got them all mixed up. I’ve also corrected the film type on my website :) Sorry again! The base isn’t as heavily dyed as on the Ilford FP4+. The exposure times for this film are similar to those for the Ilford FP4+. Regards Skydl
skydl Sorry about the last batch of prints. They’re really rubbish… But the last roll of film had some sort of spots on it. I could rule out water spots as I use a wetting agent, and the other films didn’t have any such spots on the negative either. No idea what it is! I might do a few more enlargements tonight and hope it’s just the first six pictures (well, I’m holding out a little hope). I’ll put the pictures online anyway P.S. The scanner and enlarger are always cleaned with an anti-static cloth and compressed air. But as I said, it’s down to the negative. I must have done something wrong there, shit!! Regards Thorsten
