Hello everyone, I have a question about how to use ADOLUX ADX: Does anyone know whether the order in which I add components A and B to the water matters? Another thing I’m not sure about is that there are no labels on the bottles – how can I tell which is component A and which is component B? Many thanks for your help! Best regards, Christoph

It is best to dissolve the components separately. If you pour them into the water at the same time, individual crystals may not dissolve properly or local flocculation may occur, resulting in spots on the film. I am not familiar with the packaging of ADX, but usually component A is smaller than B.

Stagirit, why are you posting such nonsense if you don’t know ADX? 1. The order doesn’t matter. 2. As you always need equal amounts of both components, it doesn’t matter where A or B is. Incidentally, my bottles (from a bit later on) clearly say A/B on them. Regards, Manfred

Hi Christoph, The order doesn’t matter. And that’s why the bottles don’t need any special labels. Just add a little from each bottle to the solution at the right temperature and you’ll get a lot of use out of this developer. Good luck – ThomasN

Stagirit, why are you posting such nonsense when you don’t know anything about ADX?

Nonsense? Can anyone really be harmed by following the instructions on the leaflet? Even if it isn’t important when it comes to ADX, that tone is more than a bit out of place.
