The website lists everything we used to stock.
The lenses and 6x6 inserts have been sold out for a long time.
However, we still have KB inserts.

That’s more or less what I gathered from the emails and the phone call – perhaps it would make sense to update the website as well, as it had given me renewed hope.
I have a separate stage for KB, which isn’t likely to break any time soon as it’s been filed from a single piece :) Thanks for the offer.
Who was it who called the Opemus scrap?

No, I’m afraid not; I didn’t catch the name. I just asked on the phone for someone familiar with the Opemus system and was put through. When I asked about a DIY solution, I didn’t get a satisfactory answer either; perhaps you could confirm to me explicitly once again that even the newer decks still available don’t fit into the old unit – feel free to email me at anke.drewitz@lycos.de
In the near future, I’ll have to start thinking about a Magnifax or Krokus anyway, as a Moskva (6x9) has just landed on my doorstep :o
