Hello, I’m just starting to sort through my numerous slides from magazines and organise them into a wall cabinet. I’d like to take this opportunity to switch from my analogue index card system to something a bit more modern... Can anyone recommend any suitable, tried-and-tested software for archiving the images and retrieving them according to various criteria? borgilini

Hello borglini, If you’re scanning, you can use ACDSee (freeware); otherwise, an Excel spreadsheet will do, or for more advanced users, an Access database. Something like Canto Cumulus is a bit of a luxury, but without digital images, permanent web publishing is probably overkill. Best regards Martin
