It’s true that’s what it says on the bottle, but I think it’s nonsense and I’ll make sure that when new labels are printed, that sort of thing isn’t published anymore.[right][post="6486"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post][/right]
Back in the day (if I recall correctly, 2001 or 2002), there was even more utter nonsense on there: it mentioned 6 films at 1+40 in a 600ml working solution. And three runs, each with two films.
As a multiple-developer user, you shouldn’t use R09 or Rodinal, as a stand-time between runs allows the solution to age completely unchecked. Doing two films today, two tomorrow and another two the day after is definitely not an option, even if the Calbe leaflet doesn’t state this clearly.
The instructions do state that the working solution has a shorter shelf life and is less usable than with other developers, but unfortunately they don’t specify that this shelf life is measured in hours.
