Gast Hello, esteemed camera obscura experts, does anyone perhaps have any experience with the film and developer combination mentioned in the title? Does modern film work with this ancient, Stone Age concoction, or is it best to steer clear? Thanks for any advice, and best regards, SARGRATTE
MirkoBoeddecker S…, Sure, that’ll work. It actually gives the Delta quite a bit of sharpness, and it has a fine grain structure anyway. I’d even recommend it for the Delta alongside the ADX, HRX and 2525. Best regards, Mirko
skahde It actually makes the Delta relatively sharp, and it has a fine grain anyway. But be careful with the times! If developed at 1+50 according to the instructions, it becomes hard and grainy with unprintable highlights. Best regards Stefan
Gast Hello fellow photographers, just a quick update: using Rodinal 1+50 / 13 mins / 20°C, the film achieves its rated sensitivity; the results (I’m using roll film) are excellent (crisp and with fine grain); this is likely to become one of my go-to combinations! Best regards, SARGRATTE
