The guys from Shenzhen have been in touch. The new focusing screws are now ready, as are the 4x5" and 8x10" (surprise!) cameras, but there’s still a hold-up with the focusing screens, so we won’t be receiving the goods until the end of March. That’s not too bad, because with the current temperatures, your fingers would just freeze to the all-aluminium bodies anyway :lol: Initial information is already available on our new website (not officially live yet, so please just take a look at the Fotomänner section). Do you think so? Because of the... brown wooden handles? I’ve already asked if they’ll be making custom-made beechwood handles too :-) If not, we’ll probably make them ourselves :lol: Mirko

Please ensure that, on the new website, the plural form is not formed by adding an apostrophe-S, even following the spelling reform. And certainly not by adding an accented S! This is not the case in other languages either, not even in English. So not [color="red"]ADOLIGHT's[/colo or [COLOADOLIGHT’s[/COLO! Oh, and as already noted, the cameras are CNC-milled, not turned. Thank you.

Frank, all compatible lenses (i.e. all those with the required image circle coverage; focal lengths vary by manufacturer, but are usually 65mm and above) come with their respective shutters (Compur or Copal zero, one or two). Mirko

By the way, the handles shown are made of walnut. Other types of wood are available on request. Mirko

The wood isn’t the problem; it’s just that the handles aren’t ergonomic, and the faux leather finish on the aluminium stem was unnecessary. As long as it takes good photos, though, that’s really beside the point.
