Hello,
Can all baryta papers be processed using a dry press? I recently read that it depends on the thickness of the emulsion layer. Are there actually papers that are too delicate for a dry press?

Good morning!
So far, I’ve tested ADOX FinePrint VarioC and Polywarmtone. The Polywarmtone withstands relatively high temperatures and produces little curling at the edges. The Vario paper is unsuitable for my dry press because it curls extremely badly, even at low temperatures.
Air-drying makes it almost flat; that’s the best I can manage. I’ll soon be pressing it onto a glass pane and leaving it to dry there.
Regards, Jü
