: Hi there,
how is the film sensitised? I’ve only ever come across this in technical films involving gas treatment. But I believe that was only done shortly before filming. Mind you, I’ve only read about it. This is supposed to be permanent, isn’t it? It certainly sounds very exciting. Will the film be available permanently?
Best regards, Peter
Hello Peter,
We won’t be providing any details on the technical aspects of the “Speed Boost” technology. That’s a trade secret. The industrial implementation of this technology was no small feat and took us around two years of work. We ask for your understanding. This technology is unique in its industrial application. ADOX is the only film manufacturer to use it.
Of course, we can’t make any guarantees for the next 20 years ;-), and demand for a product naturally always plays an important role, but we are generally planning for the long term with this film and would like to offer it for as long as possible.

Hello Peter,
The ADOX HR-50 can be developed very easily and with excellent results using the Scala reversal process in Photo Studio 13. PS 13 has tested it extensively and was delighted with the results. More on this here:

We are also working flat out on a reversal kit for home users, which will be launched in the near future (most likely before the end of this year). Stay tuned :-).
