Hello,
Another question from me:
Does the Opemus 6 also do 6×7 or just 6×6?
Here’s the background:
I’ve managed to get hold of a Calumet 6×7 roll film cassette for my 4×5 flat-bed pinhole camera at a good price.
I’d be grateful for any advice.
Best regards from Cologne,

Hi Klaus,
The Opemus 6 only does 6x6.
The Opemus 7 does 6x7.
Best wishes from Dresden,

Thanks, Ulli, for the quick reply :-)
So, if I buy this, I’ll lose about 1.2 cm on each side?

No, what on earth made you think that? We're talking about millimetres with 6x7.
You lose a total of one millimetre across the width of the negative, that's all. And you can choose where... Or alternatively, get yourself a bigger enlarger

Hi Philipp,
With a glass stage, it loses *less* than a centimetre from its 6x7 negatives (at the edges, it even has to screw the little sliders in), because they aren’t actually 6x7 in size either :-)
And with glass in the stage, the 5-inch Opemus illuminates the largest aperture perfectly, both with a condenser and with Meochrom. So why shouldn’t the 6-series be able to do the same?
An experiment will provide the facts. Otherwise: a cheap 4x5” enlarger is fine, or an even cheaper Krokus 6x9 (one went through the auction site last week for a paltry €10, complete with a broken piece).
Best regards,

... or a Magnifax; that can handle up to 6x9 as well.
