Hello everyone,
Does anyone have any experience with Adox Creativ Printfilm (lith film with halftone values on a clear base) and Amaloco 74? Does this combination work – or does anyone even have any development times for me?
Alternatively, I could switch to D-76.
Best regards,

A great many film emulsions can be processed in AM74 (Amaloco) with development times of around 5 to 6 minutes at a dilution of 1+7 to 1+9.
If the ADOX material is similar to Maco GPF, it would be a bit easier.
Best regards from Holland,
Robert

Dear Dietmar,
I’m currently testing Adox print film myself, though with different developers (Moersch Tanol, Rodinal, Fomadon LQR, Foma Reversal Kit – test results will follow soon here on the forum), and whilst I can’t say anything specific about Amaloco 74, I can generally say that the print film requires only very short development times; with Rodinal a couple of minutes are enough, and with Tanol much less than with other films. I would recommend developing the first print by eye (you can process the film under red light – no sign of fog!), so you can see how much the image actually needs.

Hello, and thank you very much for your replies.
Thanks to the positive feedback here, I’ve ordered the film and will post the results here as well (it might take a few days).
Many thanks,

Hello forum ;-)
I did promise to share the results... I finally got round to trying out the film at the weekend. I achieved good results using a 1:15 dilution of Amaloco 74 with a development time of 5 minutes (at around 20 degrees). The film was developed in a tray with minimal agitation.
This may serve as a starting point for your own experiments.
Many thanks again
