Hello,
I have another question about the Moersch Master Lith Set:
According to the instructions on the packaging, the dilution of Moersch Lith D is 1:4. Does that mean, for example, that to add 20 ml of D solution, I first mix 4 ml of Lith D with 16 ml of water and then add that to the rest of the mixture???
Thanks again and best regards!
Johannes

Hi Johannes,
Give Wolfgang a call. I’ve already given you a similar reply in the parallel forum.
You’ve got the dilution right, and I interpret the data sheet in exactly the same way when it comes to usage. I just don’t use the stuff.
Best regards,

Hello Johannes,
Wolfgang writes:
Additives D and E are highly concentrated. Before use (when following the table values), perform dilution: 1 part additive to 4 parts water!
I think that’s clear enough; yes, 4 ml of additive plus 16 parts water makes 20 litres according to the table.
But above all, read the instructions thoroughly first.
The bromide accumulates as the system is used.
Therefore, my advice (if you are not regenerating with A alone) is to add bromide only to the initial batch, not to the replenisher.
Example:
The specification is 20 ml of D per 1 litre.
Prepare 1 litre without D, pour half into the tray, add 10ml of D, then gradually regenerate with the other half.
As mentioned, potassium bromide accumulates, so in my opinion it’s best to be cautious. You can add more, but you can’t remove it, so don’t add any more once there’s enough. If there’s too much in there, the shadows become weak.
The sulphite, on the other hand, is consumed. You may need to top this up. However, if there is too much of it, it won’t work any more.
You’ll need a few sessions before you get the hang of it.
Regards
Martin
