Hi Richard, Has the provider’s server been hacked? It looks the same here too. However, it seems to only affect the homepage; the rest of the Impex website is still accessible via www.fotolaborforum. Best regards, Franz

This is the second time this has happened. It must be the provider’s server (Schlund und Partner), as I blocked all FTP access after the first time and, although I reset the master password, I’ve never actually used it. Unfortunately, I’m on the move and can only go online via my mobile (abroad!!!). At least someone’s making money out of this :-( I’m a bit at a loss ? Does anyone have any tips? Regards, Mirko

Hello Mirko, Do you use a secure (encrypted) connection when uploading the site? In other words, do you use SSH, SFTP or HTTPS, or are the passwords transmitted unencrypted via FTP or HTTP and could therefore be intercepted? Are the passwords perhaps stored on a computer that has been or is being hacked, or is infected with a virus? I’m not familiar with the upload and site administration procedures at Schlund und Partner, so I can’t really say where the leak might be. But really, the provider needs to help here! Good luck – let’s hope it doesn’t happen again! Richard

Hi Richard, Yes, I’ve considered everything (as far as possible). It must be a hack on Schlund & Partner’s servers, as others hosted by this provider are having the same problem. I’ll just have to check several times a day now… there’s nothing you can do about it except move, but nobody’s safe from something like this. Best regards, Mirko

Hi, It’s still a bit of an embarrassment for Schlund & Partner, especially as it’s happened for the second time in such a short space of time. They really ought to let their clients know straight away when things like this happen, or restore the backups themselves – assuming they actually make any. Bye Frank
