I have an Opemus 3 here, but unfortunately it doesn’t have a filter drawer. There is an aftermarket option, the Meocolor Opemus 3, but I haven’t been able to find it anywhere. Apparently, you can also use the Vario filters under the lens. Does that really work?

Yes, no problem. Ilford make holders that attach directly to the enlarger lens. Otherwise, just remove the red filter from its holder and place the MG filter on top of it.
