Does anyone here happen to know whether Maco’s PO 100 c is also sold under a different name or brand by other suppliers? After all, many Maco films are actually Efke or Ilford, aren’t they? So what exactly is the PO 100 c?

Joern,
That’s an Efke that isn’t actually an Efke, but a custom-made product that Macophot has produced for Efke.
Or hang on—apparently all Maco stuff comes from Agfa (that’s the best joke I’ve ever heard from that company).

Hi Jürgen,
Have a look at the Efkes (that’s not a different brand name; it’s the ‘real’ one, not a rebranded version).
Then have a read of Mirko’s post (search for it!) about the film base used in Efke/ADOX films, and you’ll be up to speed.
You’ll also learn that, since the Fine Art Forum, Leverkusen has clearly been located in Croatia. It’s impressive how a certain dealer can move entire cities with the power of words.
Best regards,
Franz
