I’m looking for a manual in German for the Pentax 645 N II.
A photocopy would also be fine.
Can anyone help?

Hello,
I’ve just quickly found a German manual for the Pentax 645 N – not the II. I’m not sure exactly how the two cameras differ.

The 645N is different from the NII. The II hasn’t just been given mirror lock-up; a number of new functions have also been added, as can be seen from the controls, though I’m not entirely sure what they’re for.

Having wasted quite a bit of my limited free time, I’ve finally found a source.
You can get this manual for the Pentax 645 NII from the company Kamerazeit in Lübeck.

And now you have to waste time reading as well. And don’t even get me started on taking photos – THE ultimate time-waster.
Oh, it really is a pain.

Before SPUTNIK goes on a rampage here every now and then with his meaningless drivel, I’d recommend he see a good gastroenterologist to treat his verbal diarrhoea; the forum reeks of verbal faeces thanks to his outpourings.
He seems to slip under every intellectual radar with apparent ease, and that makes me wonder, WHAT on earth is he doing in a photography forum?
Now, once again for SPUTNIK, and I’ll write it extra slowly so that he understands: P-H-O-T-O-G-R-A-P-H-Y !!!!!
That is the subject here in all its facets, nothing more, and that’s just as well.
With such a sweetheart in this forum, I’m actually starting to like the Neanderthal.
And now off to Mummy, or Daddy Mirco, to have a good cry.

Says the guy who’s whingeing all over the forums because he can’t figure out his camera without a German BDA.

Now I get it!!!
I’m dealing with a little green troll here.
It’s a bit of a shame when the grown-ups here go on about their cameras and lab equipment that you don’t have yourself.
It’s a shame when you sit there in your cave, green with envy – or is it a treehouse now? – you might just start turning green yourself.
Otherwise, trolls are rather inconspicuous creatures that are easy to overlook, were it not for that green skin colour that really catches the eye.
Anyone who reads troll comments will know what sort of person he is, and then the troll even drinks the cocoa he’s being dragged through – it’s absolutely lovely.
Actually, I couldn’t care less about the troll; I’m miles above it all, but other forum users surely enjoy laughing just as much as I do.

Now back to the matter at hand.
The Pentax 6456 N II has a number of customisable functions that can be set via the Mäusekino. A guide like this is very helpful.
For example, you can perform 15 or 16 exposures on a 120 film roll, or run the film counter forwards or backwards however you like, and much more besides.
Apart from these features, it operates exactly like the 645 N – a very good tool for photography.
I’ve taken photos with this camera without the manual, but the manual allowed me to fine-tune the settings.

I’m perfectly happy with my 1.78m, and in photography too, I prefer medium format to full frame.
It’s other things that are a pain (calf-biters, for example). ^_^
?
As for the cameras and lab equipment, the way it is with me now is that I’d rather tinker with them than show them off..
It’s certainly not as if I’ve got absolutely nothing up my sleeve. B)
And if a Wad'lbeißer takes my fancy, I can certainly bring myself to upload a Wad'l, er, picture. :D

As I’ve mentioned elsewhere, I’m a fan of the ‘keep it simple’ approach.

Oh yes,
that really does make me green with envy.
With my Stone Age Swedish camera technology (which brings us back to the cave), I can of course only dream (or have nightmares) of such brilliant features.

So it is a little green troll after all, and a very rare one at that – a baby troll. First he goes and teases others, and then when it backfires, he cries like a baby.
And then to go and do all that nonsense in digital as well – oh my goodness!!!!
But I’m not impressed at all, that was rather pathetic. Just having a Habla doesn’t mean a baby can actually take photos.
A friend of mine does it with a Holga and works for Stern, Geo and others; he’s had plenty of exhibitions and, of course, won awards. He IS a photographer.
Is the little troll just the owner of a Habla, or is it borrowed from Dad or Grandad?
Of course I’ll turn into a bitter if someone tries to take the mickey out of me, but I don’t bite calves – I bite higher up so that a troll turns into a squatter.
Where’s the fun in that otherwise!!!!!
So carry on having fun in the cave.
By the way, I’m writing this myself; I don’t have to search for words, piece them together from others’ speech, and take them completely out of context like Babytroll.
He can’t even do that on his own; he has to help himself to other people’s ideas – how pathetic is that!
But, as E. Kästner once said, he’s already gulped down the cocoa I’ve been feeding him in huge swigs.
Wonderful!!!!!
sputnik
Just how low do you have to sink before you have no other option but to rely on your friends’ skills?
Or to put it another way: just how poor must your own skills be to resort to this?

By the way, I’m always up for a little photo battle. ;)
However, looking at your infantile scribblings, I have my doubts as to whether you
a ) have ever managed to produce a single decent analogue print in your life
and
b ) can even recognise a good photo.

Well? Do you notice anything?
But it’s true; it really is wonderful to see how you don’t make a fool of yourself by showing off here in front of everyone. :D

Well, reading and understanding, little troll? That’s not really his thing either. I’ve never claimed to be a good photographer; I just enjoy it, and I don’t need to boost my ego by posting my photos online. I don’t need that, but apparently a little troll does.
I do what I can, which is why I’m completely lost when it comes to comparisons like ‘who’s the best’. I don’t need that sort of thing.
I’ll carry on doing my own thing and the troll will keep trying to pick on people – the troll is simply incorrigible. Oh well, if he’s got nothing better to do!!!
And now I’ve had enough fun teasing the little one.
Bye bye
