Finding 9x12cm film for the old view cameras was easy. Finding 5x7" holders and film was also easy, and I had no trouble finding 13x18 holders and film for ‘modern’ cameras. I also found a few packs of PL 25 in 6.5x9cm for the small view camera.
But 18x24cm for old view cameras is trickier – they can’t use 8x10" film holders, so that option is out. I have a pack of MACO UP100c and I’ve still got a few sheets left. But summer is just around the corner, and film consumption is high.
Even worse are the problems I’ve now created for myself with 24x30 and 30x40cm plate cameras.
Are there any ‘modern’ films in these sizes – preferably no faster than ISO 50 (my large lenses don’t have shutters)?

Ole,
Films for 18x24, e.g.
FOTOIMPEX (here)
Classicpan 200 and 400 (that’s Forte)
Fomapan 100
Efke PL100, 50, 25
Wephota (almost every size) www.wephota.de
NP15 25 ASA (that’s Efke)
NP22 125 ASA (that’s Foma)
NP27 400 ASA (that’s Forte)
Foto Mayr www.fotomayr.de
Ilford FP4
And of course you can order other sizes
Good luck

I’ve noticed that Wephota also makes 24x30 and 30x40 formats. NP 27 is a Forte film, and Forte has a coarse grain and a low-quality emulsion, but in these sizes that shouldn’t be a problem.
NP 22 is a Foma film and a good one.

Of course!
I’d forgotten all about wephota – thank you!
They’ve got everything I need or want – like the 30x40 NP15, which is perfect for a view camera with a lens without a shutter :)
