I have a question regarding development times for Fomapan 100/400. I use Calbe A 49 developer as a single-use developer at a 1:1 ratio.
I have now found several sets of data in the tables on FOTOIMPEX.
1) Developer table for Calbe A 49 fine-grain developer
Foma 100 6–8 mins plus an extension factor of 1.3–1.5 gives 7.8–12.0 mins
Foma 400 8–10 mins plus an extension factor of 1.3–1.5 gives 10.4–15.0 mins
2) In the PDF developer table for selected third-party films
Foma 100 A49 1:1 13 min
Foma 400 A49 1:1 also 13 min
What now? Take the average and carry on? I developed one roll of film of each yesterday; the negatives don’t actually look too bad? Is such a tolerance possible?
Many thanks, Sven
