Hello,
During a phone call with Bon Image, I was told that Ilford chemicals will be back in stock towards the end of the month. Among other things, 1-litre bottles of Perceptol are currently included in the list of items due for delivery.

Well, the thing with Perceptol is unfortunately a bit of a tricky business.
When Ilford officially announced the discontinuation of Perceptol production last autumn, both we and Wolfgang Moersch were working (in parallel) on bringing out a ‘replacement product’.
In the process, we both ended up with the original formula, albeit via roundabout routes.
When we got wind of each other’s efforts, we joined forces and commissioned industrial production. We are currently waiting for this batch to be delivered.
The fact that Ilford is now making Perceptol again is, of course, a bit of a nuisance. Had we known that beforehand, we could have saved ourselves all that work.
On the other hand, we’ve also seen the initial prices for the new Ilford and bonbonimage versions, and you’d think Perceptol contained ground gold dust as an antioxidant...(which would, however, distinguish it from our version :-)
Our packaging is set to be 2 x 1 litre (like ATM 49) and the target retail price is 4.50–5.00 EUR.
