Hello,
I have a pack of Agfa 40x40 X-ray film.
Can anyone tell me whether and how the
film can be exposed and developed to produce an image?
(I’m in the process of building a simple camera for this format.
Best regards,
Dony
X-ray films are quite hard and, above all, have an emulsion coating on both sides. Usually, an intensifying screen is applied to both sides of the film; this fluoresces green or blue, thereby reducing the dose.
Because the film has a coating on both sides, you cannot take particularly good pictures with light – they will be out of focus.
