Dear Konstantin,
To achieve the IR effect, you need to use a "black" filter.
This filter is such a deep red that you cannot see through it – only the IR
waves can pass through it.
We offer these filters, manufactured by Heliopan, in various wavelengths (nm).
The first one is 665 nm, and the range continues up to 1000 nm.
You cannot use wavelengths above 830 nm, as the film’s sensitivity ends at 820 nm.
So, in practice, you can use: 665, 695, 715, 780.
The higher the wavelength, the more visible the IR effect will be, but also the
lower the film speed will be, as you ‘cut out’ more and more of
the film’s sensitised spectral range.
If you use one of the dark red but not yet black versions (e.g. 695), you are
already down to about 2–8 ASA!
Only without a filter does the film have 400 ASA!
The prices for the IR filters in M52 are 39 EUR plus tax.
We can ship to Russia, but the costs are rather high due to the customs
procedures required.
However, we have several Russian photographers who come here to buy items and
‘smuggle’ them back into Russia to avoid taxation by your officials
(sometimes 60%–200%, depending on the mood of the customs officer).
Most of them are from Moscow. I can ask them.
Best regards from Berlin,
Mirko
