Hello,
I’d like to organise a print exchange among the forum’s readers.
Here’s how it works: 4–6 prints showcasing examples of participants’ own work are circulated amongst the group in a fixed order. For example: with 6 participants (ABCDEF), each person sends their sample of work to the person with the next letter in the sequence and, in return, receives feedback on those prints via email. Afterwards, ideally within a week, the print is sent on to the next letter in the sequence (or from F back to A). The process continues until everyone has their prints back.
I would limit the number of participants to 6 (additional rounds can be opened if there is greater interest) so that a round can be completed within a reasonable time. I would like to start on 19 September 2004.
Suggested format: Anything that fits into a Maxi parcel. That’s 35.3 x 30 x 15 cm
500 g for €1.53. According to the Post Office, accompanying letters are permitted; delivery simply takes longer than for standard letter formats. There are no restrictions on the content of the images; it should simply be a self-enlarged black-and-white print. Please include the technical details on the back (material and anything else you consider important, year taken, year of printing, any other suggestions?), author, address, and your own comments.
Who’s joining in? Post here or, even better, send an email to nasseplanke@narrengold.de. Please register by 8 September 2004.
Best regards,
Stefan

Hello,
So far, I’ve had exactly one reply. Guys and girls, aren’t you going to sign up? :-D
Don’t set your standards too high; work prints are fine. You can definitely learn a lot by swapping prints.
I’m extending the registration deadline to 19 September 2004. The new start date would be 26 September 2004.
Best regards,
Stefan
