What is a projection screen? What is its function on a photo enlarger (in a darkroom)?

A repro frame is a sort of camera adapter for your enlarger.
Instead of a developed negative, you use the repro frame to insert a negative into your enlarger.
It also has a shutter that can be opened in some way, and you control the repro lighting via the timer.
You can then photograph (reproduce) objects lying on the base plate.
Nowadays, it’s a rather superfluous item.
If it’s been offered to you, don’t buy it :angry:
