Hello,
Does anyone have any experience with the 820c aura development in A49?
Is there a risk of the film being damaged in the post, given that you have no control over the thermal conditions?

Hello Thomas,
Unfortunately, I can’t tell you anything about the developer kit. However, you needn’t worry about damage in transit. The black-and-white infrared films have an extended spectral range and are packed in light-proof packaging. You mustn’t confuse these with thermal infrared images, e.g. of heat loss from buildings, which are taken using a special nitrogen-cooled camera.
You must load the infrared films in complete darkness because light in the infrared range can enter through the cartridge mouth, resulting in streaks on the film. With some AF cameras that have data exposure, it is also not possible to use IR film, as this can also lead to the film being exposed to light in the wrong places.
Regards, Sven.
