Hello to all Efke users,
I’ve heard that Efke films are quite forgiving when it comes to the black shield effect – so far, so good: can anyone put that into figures? For 35mm, I only use Acros because, in the camera’s automatic exposure range (up to 30 seconds), I simply don’t have to think about anything else. Judging by the results, though, I’d prefer the EFKE Brothers. I use the 100 film in 4x5” format.
Perhaps someone knows the exact figures.
Best regards,
Robert

Hi Robert,
It’s similar to the Fuji. The two films are very similar in many ways. You shouldn’t need to extend the exposure by more than 30 seconds.

Hi Mirko,
Great – I’ll just use up my remaining Acros film and then switch to Efke – I’m already using A49 anyway – the 25 ISO comes out really well on that, at least, and I hope the 100 ISO does too!
Best wishes to the far north
Robert
