Hi there!
My old press is too bulky and needs a bit of a service. As I’m too lazy to do it myself and need the space, I’d like to swap it for something more compact.
Specs:
Filled drum (width 50 cm, diameter significantly more, around 60 cm), cast iron chassis, cast iron base, 220 V heater
Live weight somewhere around 150 kg. :blink:
The drum surface is fine, and the cloth still looks passable. The drum motor works.
Pictures to follow as soon as I get round to taking them.
In exchange, I’m interested in a table press that doesn’t take up the last bit of storage space in my flat, but can be tucked away under the worktop if necessary. However, I’m increasingly involved in the processing of 50x60 paper.
Fortunately, I have the option of drying my prints occasionally at a friend’s place who lives a bit further away. So even a 30x40 table press would be a help for the time being. :unsure:
Just let me know what you’ve got on offer – even if you don’t want my ‘giant baby’ in exchange... :D
