Hello
I’ve bought N113 for the first time to make a 10-litre batch and have prepared it. As my largest storage containers hold 5 litres, I wondered whether it would be possible to dissolve the powder in 5 litres (the FOTOIMPEX catalogue recommends preparing it in 10 litres). And lo and behold, it works!!
Now I have a (weak) concentrate and am hoping for even better shelf life.

Of course, you could also make a 5-litre batch – as for shelf life, n113 easily keeps for a year in brown, tightly sealed bottles, but by then it’s usually already gone.
But seriously, I recently left a bowl of it out in the pantry for nearly three weeks, and unfortunately it had gone off :D

Preparing a stock solution, which is then subjected to 1:1 dilution with water to make a working solution, was the standard procedure for Neutol (powder) and was described as such in the instructions. Unfortunately, Neutol powder is no longer available, but the method also works with N113 and Eukobrom (powder). This results in a longer shelf life for the stock solution and means you don’t need as many bottles. In my experience, the shelf life of the working solution made from Neutol (powder) was significantly longer than with N113.
Good luck.
