Hi everyone.
As some of you may know, I’ve been caught up in the GF craze for a while now. I’m really annoyed with myself for not having started this sooner. The only problem was that there isn’t much information available in German on this topic. So you end up asking silly questions on forums that are actually quite easy to answer. As I have my own website anyway and I still had a .de domain to spare, I took the liberty of setting up a
www.grossformatfotografie.de site and installed a forum on it for now. This forum isn’t meant to compete with existing ones, but simply to complement them. It’s all about the specific issues faced by GF photographers. Of course, everyone is very welcome on this site. However, we don’t just want to run a forum there; anyone who works with sheet films will have the opportunity to create a portfolio for themselves.
But enough writing for now.
I hope for lively participation, so that we can soon call a proper source of information for large-format photographers in the German-speaking world our own.
