Hello Mirko, I had given a tip to a forum user because that item was no longer in your range. Now you’ve simply deleted that tip, under the pseudonym ‘Guest’, thereby exerting influence on this forum in the worst possible way. It’s clear that you’re doing this for your own gain – which is perfectly understandable! Perhaps you and your team should focus on improving the quality of this forum. Many questions remain unanswered, and I suspect that you have never actually tested some of the items you sell yourselves. If FOTOIMPEX wants to stand out from the crowd, then you shouldn’t delete posts; you need to be able to answer questions... Best regards – Dieter P.S.: I bought my film splitter from you.

Hello Dieter, We have looked very carefully at the website you mentioned and found that, at least online, no film clips were being offered there. As the post was no longer relevant because we are able to supply the clips again, we took the liberty of removing it and posting a response that would be more useful to the customer. After all, it stated that we no longer stock these items, which was somehow incorrect and misleading, regardless of where that information originated. It should be clear that we have no interest in such information. The ‘moderation’ took place WEEKS after your post. At a time when circumstances had changed and the information was simply out of date. Therefore, the recipient had plenty of time to read your tip. In the meantime, however, I have seen that you don’t necessarily have to delete posts; you can also move and edit them. Next time, in such a case, we’ll simply move the outdated information down the page. Besides, I didn’t say that the splinters were available again under a “pseudonym”, but signed it quite normally as Mirko. Anyone who doesn’t log in specifically is a “guest”. This forum is not moderation-free. Your post is almost insulting. “Oldest form” – come on. That hardly calls for any further escalation. Who ever said that we test all products beforehand? What on earth are you talking about here? Our forum is intended to provide questions and answers relating to the development and processing of laboratory products. This forum is not an advertising platform for other companies. You can only access the forum via our website. Non-customers don’t discuss things here. In that respect, we’ve never claimed that this forum is independent. Why don’t you read post number one! It’s primarily intended to be about our products so that our customers can ask questions not just to us on the phone but to anyone interested. That was the basic idea. We try to reply if no one else does, or if we think we have a better take on things. If anyone wants a forum for third-party products, they should go ahead and suggest it. Perhaps we’ll do that then. So, I hope that all ambiguities have now been cleared up and all misunderstandings resolved ;-) Regards, Mirko
