Hi,
I’ve had a go at using the gradient Spezial paper mentioned above with various developers.
A: Eukobrom
B: 1.5 mins in Dokumol followed by 2 mins in Centrabrom
I’m really pleased with the grey tones, but the maximum blacks are a bit lacklustre.
Does anyone have any other ideas?
I don’t want to ruin the slightly warm tone with a blue-black developer, and I’m not keen on messing around with selenium straight away either.
So, does anyone know anything?

What exactly do you mean by ‘so-so’?
Compared to what?
Was the developer fresh?
Have you tried doing it the other way round (Centraborm first, then Dokumol)?
