Hello,
I’ve had a Plaubel Peco for a while now, which requires 9x12 and 13x18 sheet film.
I’d now like to enlarge these negatives, but for various reasons I don’t want to buy a separate enlarger.
So I thought I’d lay the optical bench flat and temporarily convert the Plaubel into an enlarger.
What do you think of this idea?
Best regards,
Arno

Linhof had that option back in the 60s. There was a special mount available for the Technika.
Basically, you just need to figure out how to mount the negative. You could 3D print something or adapt a flatbed film holder. And you’ll need a condenser, or better still, a colour-mixing head in the right size.
Regards, Sven.

... in principle, it’s possible – but before you start tinkering, you should carefully weigh up the time required (time = money) and the financial outlay involved against the cost of a second-hand GF enlarger... I reckon that in 90% of cases, a second-hand GF enlarger is cheaper and, what’s more, you can get straight down to enlarging straight away!
