Hello forum members,
We’re now trying to organise a meet-up in Ravenstein (NL). We’ll be holding a portrait/nude photography workshop. I’ve already discussed everything with Herbie (Fotocommunity) from Bonn to plan and organise this. Some people from the Dutch Photo Equipment Forum and a few members of the Schaijk Local Photography Club will also be joining us. So it will be an international seminar and we’ll be going for a meal at the restaurant “de Keurvorst” in the centre of Ravenstein. That’s also where we’ll be meeting up, a 6-minute walk from Ravenstein station. We’ve agreed on the old mill “de Nijverheid”, next to the centre (200 m from “de Keurvorst”). We have set the date for Sunday, 27 July 2003. We will be working with various models, including some from abroad. We may also have a model from the Czech Republic/Slovakia. Language will not be a problem, as everyone will speak German, English (and of course Dutch).
If anyone needs to travel further afield, there is the option of staying at “de Keurvorst” on Saturday 26 July 2003 (cost: €40; we can make the booking).
The total cost for the seminar has also been set: €90, all-inclusive: i.e. seminar, black-and-white films of your choice (Foma or Maco), drinks, food and dinner around 8.00 pm at “de Keurvorst”.
Ravenstein is situated 20 km from Nijmegen, on the A50 motorway towards 's-Hertogenbosch, on the River Maas. It has a very beautiful old town centre.
As from 1 July 2003, no bank charges will be applied within EU countries, so the €90 can be transferred to the bank account without any additional costs. Cancellations are only possible up to 50% of the fee, as we naturally need to cover all our costs.
Everyone is free to register with us. Unfortunately, there are of course only a few places left. As the local newspaper will also be publishing an article from Wednesday onwards, everything will probably be fully booked very soon.
We are, of course, always available to answer any further questions,
and we hope everyone has a great time on the day.
