Hello, Does anyone happen to have any sample photos taken with the Efke KB 25 and 50, or could they tell me a bit about the differences between them? I’d like to get to grips with one of them without having to do a whole series of comparative tests first. How much do they differ in terms of sharpness, contrast and grey tones? Phillip, The films are very similar. There are practically no differences in terms of spectral sensitivity and colour reproduction, and as far as grain is concerned, you could actually describe both as ‘grain-free’. Personally, I unfortunately often end up with blurred KB25 shots because I don’t like lugging a tripod around with me, so I’d be better off with the 50. Just shoot a roll of each on the same subject and make a few enlargements. Best regards, Mirko www.fotoimpex.de

Thanks for your reply; I think I’ll order a pack of KB50s soon. If the differences compared to the KB25 really are that minor, the choice is clear to me, as I too find a tripod rather of a faff. Hello, To expand on the question a bit, how big is the difference between the KB 50 and the 100? I’ve now exposed my first 10 rolls of KB 50 and developed them at f/0.9, and I think the film is really good. Best regards, Harald
