Hi,
I’ve actually found a reduction thread adapter (what a word!)
M39 ---> M23.5 at a camera shop in Austria. I was wondering if anyone knows of a mail-order company here in Germany that also sells the same thing (it’s by Meopta, so nothing too unusual). That would save on postage costs.

They do have them here at FOTOIMPEX, too.
In the 'other' forum (Phototec), however, you asked for an adapter for M39 lenses to fit M23.5 mounts, but I assume that in this case it’s the other way round: an adapter for M23.5 lenses to M39 mounts that’s of no use to you – I’d be very surprised if it were anything else, and I can hardly imagine it being technically feasible (the light would have to pass through the 23.5mm ‘eye of the needle’ into the 39mm-thick lens – how on earth would that work?)
