Hello FOTOIMPEX team, Why not tell us a bit more about your forum? I’d be happy to ask a few questions: 1) Do you have to be a member to take part? Hello Thomas, No, of course you don’t have to be a member. The forum software is still new to us. We don’t yet know all the features it offers. It’s a very powerful forum software that’s very popular in the USA. This software will also run on the FOTOIMPEX USA server, so we’ve opted for the same solution to allow users to post in both forums. The translation into German will take a while yet. We just thought, why wait when you can get started straight away? As a member, it’s easier to manage your own comments; there are email notification features, and yes, you can also subscribe to the forum entirely via email. We’ll be putting together a guide soon. The usual back-and-forth exchanges work just fine as they are. We’ll try to be very active in answering questions at the start to get things going until it runs smoothly on its own. The idea was to answer our customers’ questions publicly instead of writing thousands of personal emails a year that only one person can ever read. After all, it’s often the same questions. The forum is, of course, open to everyone and covers everything to do with the photo lab. We at FOTOIMPEX can, of course, only provide specific answers and assistance regarding our own products. In principle, any post is welcome provided it is not offensive, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate. The forum is quite flexible. Hi Impex team, I’ve pushed Ilford FP 4 Plus ISO 125 to ISO 1000 but can’t find any development times. Can you help here? I can’t say which developer it is as it’s a developer from the Bauhaus University. THANKS for your reply to lordbenjamin@gmx.de

Hello, That’s 9 DIN; any higher speed is almost impossible. The only option might be Emofin with at least double the development time, but then all you can do is pray! Or use a standard developer at 30°C with a development time 30% longer than at 20°C – in any case, the film will turn out pretty rubbish. You’ve really made a mess of things there! Werner
