I’ve migrated the forum because our old forum provider stopped honouring its contracts, and the paid “Lifetime Edition” had been left to languish without security updates for two years now… :(
Now we’re open source, which means we’re a bit more future-proof again.
There is, however, one snag (hopefully just that one): as the old forum had been running since 2003, the database wasn’t yet UTF-8 encoded.
During the migration, it was a case of choosing between the devil and the deep blue sea. Either all posts lost their umlauts or the topic titles did.
Yes, I know that’s illogical ;-) Just take my word for it. I’ve decided to correct the posts (= more text) and if anyone fancies editing the topic titles, they may step forward now or remain silent forever ;-)

Thanks for the time and effort you put into the forum. I really appreciate it!
Is a mobile version for smartphones also planned or available? Compared to the old forum, it’s much harder to navigate on a small screen. Writing a post in the editor is also a bit of a challenge.

I’ve manually added a theme selector below. It had somehow gone missing.
You can switch to ‘Responsive’ there. The other theme is a bit buggy and full of adverts, though. This should do the job for the mobile view for now.
HTTPS is in the works.
