Does anyone have experience with the development of Rollei Ortho 25 in Rollei RHC High Contrast for architectural photography?
I’ve tried this twice, following the instructions each time, but the results have always been disappointing:
According to the data sheet: 1+5: 4 minutes agitation
Film packaging instructions: 1+7: 5 minutes agitation
Architectural photos; the exposure meter on my Nikon F90x works.
In both attempts, the negatives are extremely dark – essentially unusable.
Does anyone have any tips on how to improve this?

...the Rollei RHC isn’t really the right developer for artistic photography – unless you’re into razor-sharp contrasts...

I’ve always developed this film using Rodinal at a dilution of 1:2 or 1:3. It works brilliantly at the recommended sensitivity. I think the development time was 6 minutes at 1:2. Rodinal at a higher dilution is supposed to work as well, but I haven’t tried that myself yet.

Thanks, I’ll give the next Ortho 25 in Rodinal–Adonal a go; I’ve got the developer at home.
I’m experimenting and want to achieve some graphic effects, which is why I’m actually looking for extreme contrasts.
