The new factory has started production and we have finally been able to implement measures that have been in the pipeline for some time.
These include CAPTURA dust-binding technology.
Powder chemistry has the disadvantage of creating dust during preparation, which not only becomes a contaminant in the laboratory but can also be inhaled by the photographer.
Under high exposure, this can lead to health risks. That is why ADOX has introduced CAPTURA dust-binding technology to make powder chemistry as safe as liquid chemistry during preparation.
What’s more, the powder dissolves better, as homogeneous crystals dissolve at the same rate. This prevents those annoying lumps from forming at the bottom of the mixing vessel.
The powder now looks ‘wet’ when it comes out of the packet, but it isn’t wet. CAPTURA does this and later dissolves completely (unnoticed) in water.
CAPTURA is harmless, biodegradable and water-soluble. Once it has bound the dust, it “disappears”.
CAPTURA also helps prevent the powder from clumping.
