I sent a roll of analogue colour film to Cewe to be developed, and 14 days later it came back with the
note: "Your request is not available". Do these companies no longer value people who take
analogue photographs? I consistently reject the tyranny of digital technology, whether in the multimedia sector or elsewhere.

Hello Yellow Filter
I recently had some KB colour films developed at Rossmann.
At my request, they even came back rolled up (with scratches, of course)
Given the price they charge, that’s tolerable.
(I couldn’t be bothered to perform the exposure on the 72 frames myself)
Have you tried the local shop yet?
There are other labs that offer this service too.
Especially with other formats, you’ll have no other choice.
Good luck
Bernd

Hello Gelbfilter,
I must admit that in recent years I’ve often been too lazy to develop and print my films myself, so I’ve been handing them in at the nearest DM store, as I did just recently. The films and prints are fine for a large-scale lab; according to the in-store advertising and the label on the bag, the development is carried out by CEWE.
Perhaps they just don’t accept them directly anymore. At least a year ago, they were still making enlargements from 6×6 black-and-white roll film negatives, though with a two-week wait, but no more expensive than 35mm. I checked again two weeks ago; there are still films on the shelves at DM (of course, only 35mm, no 120 roll film or APS).
Another oddity, though it was three years ago now: I had black-and-white (B&W) films enlarged at both Müller Drogeriemarkt and DM; both bags had a CEWE imprint/sticker, but the enlargements made at Müller were always significantly worse!
(Of course, you can’t expect the same quality as at Fotostudio 13 from either of them)
Regards, Ralf

Hello
I rang them the other day about a Pocketfilm and was given the following information.
Cewe has not carried out processing for APS or Pocketfilms (110) since 2017. Instamatik cassettes have not been processed for some time now.
35mm and roll films (C41 and E6) are processed. Many chemists, such as DM, and other collection points work with Cewe. However, you’ll need to check whether all these collection points offer the full Cewe range.
I sent my Pocketfilm to Pixelnet; they still offer APS processing as part of their service.
