The 10th national fineartforum for analogue black-and-white photography once again places the artistic quality and technical precision of the medium at the centre of attention. Highlights include numerous free workshops and talks led by experienced speakers, as well as presentations of current works. This year, a number of renowned companies will also be taking part with exhibitions. The detailed programme and a list of exhibitors will be published shortly (fineartforum.eu/) . The event is organised by the specially founded non-profit association fineartforum e.V. and its dedicated team of volunteers. As always, admission to the forum and participation in the workshops are free of charge (with the exception of a collaborative workshop with the VHS). The Forum aims to highlight the importance of analogue techniques for our cultural memory and to convey the joy and satisfaction of engaging with them. The classic black-and-white works on display and under discussion at the Forum particularly emphasise the craftsmanship and artistic skill involved. A warm welcome to all!

Dear photography enthusiasts, [size=small]Next week is the big day: on Friday 4 October, a bank holiday, the 10th fineartforum kicks off in Paderborn. We at fineartforum e.V. have set ourselves the goal: Three days packed with analogue photography! Heide Mock and Klaus Wehner will be showcasing impressive works in the exhibition. There will be talks and workshops on analogue black-and-white photography. And, most importantly, there will be opportunities for visitors to meet in person and share experiences. Many of you already know each other, and we look forward to seeing you again and meeting new enthusiasts. There will also be excellent manufacturer presentations this year. Ahead of the event, on 3 October, the public holiday, we are organising an excursion to a bison enclosure. So, if you’d like to stay in Paderborn for an extra day, this is a great opportunity. In cooperation with the Adult Education Centre, fineartforum e.V. and Christoph Fischer are offering a workshop on building a high-quality pinhole camera for sheet film. Highly recommended!
