that the production situation is actually looking very good.

Hello Karl-Gustaf,
There is no simple answer to this. So I’ll give it a go.
MCP cannot be produced for the time being, as market prices for PE paper, measured against production costs, are currently at their lowest level in 20 years. This is primarily due to the fall in the pound caused by Brexit.
Unfortunately, given our Swiss-German cost structure, we have to suspend production temporarily.
Price pressure is also very high for MCC, but slightly better than for MCP. It might still work out here.
We are currently still cutting MCC110 from our stock. This means you should still be able to order MCC 110 in January.
MCC 112 is already sold out and would need to be re-produced; MCC 110 will be out of stock by the end of January at the latest.
The manufacturer who has been performing the coating on the paper for us has ceased operations. At present, the only option for continued production is in-house.
We are currently planning our first in-house campaign. Once this is complete, we will be able to say more about the cost situation.
Best regards,
Mirko
