De Ilford Ortho Plus was tot nu toe alleen verkrijgbaar als vlakfilm. Nu biedt Ilford deze bijzondere film ook aan in de formaten 135 (35 mm) en 120 (middenformaat).
De Ilford Ortho Plus is orthochromatisch gesensibiliseerd (d.w.z. hij is "roodblind"; rood wordt weergegeven als zwart).
De gevoeligheid bedraagt bij daglicht ISO 80/20° en bij kunstlicht ISO 40/17°.
