Foma has launched a new fixed-gradation baryta photographic paper: Foma Retrobrom Sp. RETROBROM Sp is a unique warm-toned black-and-white paper featuring a silver bromide-iodide emulsion coated onto an extra-heavy baryta base. It is a fixed-gradation paper with a ‘special’ (sp) gradation. The paper base of RETROBROM Sp has a slightly greenish-yellowish tint, and the developed image is characterised by a warm, greenish-brownish tone. The distinctly warm tone of the image makes this paper particularly suitable for retro-style work, especially for portrait photography, but also for other photographic genres (still life, landscape, texture and detail, abstraction, etc.). Furthermore, RETROBROM Sp offers a wide tonal range, a fine grain and is very flexible in terms of exposure and development. Its medium speed also makes it equally suitable for contact copying and enlargements to larger formats. RETROBROM Sp is available in Glossy and Semi-matt finishes.
