Hello
I have a faulty Durst AC650 enlarger.
Two capacitors in the unit have blown. Unfortunately, I can no longer see what their capacitance was.
The two capacitors – which used to be blue or perhaps brown – are located directly above the focus button and are labelled c11 and c10.
Perhaps someone on the forum has this enlarger and could have a look under the hood?
I think you’d also need to remove the knobs and take the front panel off.
As far as I can see, the rest of the circuit board mainly has ‘10 µF 35V’ capacitors fitted.
I’d give that a go, but it would be safer to know exactly what capacitance they had.
Or is there even a circuit diagram available?

Hello,
Why not get in touch with Mr Mehlmann in Sinsheim? He’s the last remaining Durst technician in Germany and is very helpful. I’m sure he’ll be able to help you.

Thanks for the tip; I’ve sent an email.
So far, at least, I haven’t received any error messages.
I simply replaced the faulty capacitors with the ones I thought were the problem, and the device is working again.
Then another capacitor blew straight away, and I replaced that one too. I also replaced the two large, extremely hot transistors.
However, the motors for the colour filters aren’t working, or rather, they aren’t being activated.
So if anyone has any other tips, I’d love to hear them. The power’s not getting through somewhere.
Well, thanks for now.
