Hello,
Perhaps one of you might have a tip for me.
I’ve been looking for a good 85B colour correction filter with a screw-in mount for a while now
(ideally 58mm thread, but 55mm, 52mm or 43mm would also do). As I couldn’t find much online,
I ended up ordering the Tiffen 85B from Amazon,
but when I opened the box, there was no 85B filter inside. Although ‘85B’ was
engraved on the side, the filter glass was clearly not an 85B, but an 80A (or similar).
So it seems there’s some sort of manufacturing issue at Tiffen; in any case, I don’t want to
buy another Tiffen from Amazon and find that the same problem persists.
I’m a bit wary of buying a second-hand filter on eBay without seeing it first
.
My question to you is whether you have any tips on where I can buy one online or in the Potsdam/Berlin
area.
