Hello, I’m not only new here but I’ve also never developed a film before.
I have a Zenza Bronica that’s 50 years old but in almost mint condition, and I’d finally like to start using it. I want to develop the black-and-white films myself. My question is: is the starter kit + developing bag a good idea? I’m not sure if this will just be a one-off experiment, so I don’t want to make a big investment just yet.
Many thanks for your help

Hello,
I’ve started doing this too, although I didn’t have a changeable bag – I just darkened one of the compartments. The kit contains everything you need, all of good quality and at a great price!
Best regards,
Marian

Hello and welcome to the forum,
The Bronica is a fantastic camera. In its day, it was the cornerstone of a successful career in photography.
It’s great fun to take photos with it.
To get started, you don’t need much equipment to begin with.
I’d also recommend finding a room that can be darkened.
I might look for the equipment second-hand somewhere.
That’s more sustainable and you might get better quality.
Perhaps you could find someone who can give you some advice.
That makes it easier to get started.
If I can help, I’d be happy to.
I’m always delighted when someone takes the plunge into analogue photography.
Good luck with it!
Warm regards,
Klaus
