Harman Technologies, the manufacturer of Ilford films, has implemented a smaller price adjustment this year than last year. However, as we have been unable to maintain sufficient stock levels for some time now due to COVID, the price increase is having an immediate impact. This means that we have to raise the prices of all Ilford films by 5–6%. Half of our stock has already been purchased at the higher prices, meaning we are operating at a loss not only in terms of overall costs but also on a per-item basis. It is therefore possible that, in the coming weeks, Ilford films may be offered at slightly different prices by various suppliers. In the medium term, however, this will even out, as nobody can absorb a 5% increase given the current competitive pricing in Germany.
